Objective:This study was performed to investigate the relationship between blood pressure and microalbuminuria by detecting microalbuminuria in persons with high normal pressure and normal pressure。Methods:According to 2004 guideline for the preventing and treating hypertension of china,109 high-normal blood pressure individuals(≥120/和或80mm Hg) and 49 normal blood pressure individuals(<120/80mm Hg) were selected from the people who are fit for the critia. The blood pressure, body mass index(BMI),fasting blood glucose(FBG),total cholesterol(CHO), triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),Urine albumin excretion measured by ELISA were measured and compared between the normal blood pressure and high-normal blood pressure groups. Results:Compared with normal blood pressure,The microalbuminuria is higher in the group of high-normal blood pressure(3.08±1.58 vs 3.86±1.7 P<0.01),however,CHO,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,was not found difference in the two groups(P>0.05).sub-group shows that microalbuminuria is higher in the group of high-normal blood pressure with both SBP and DBP (3.90±1.66 vs 3.09±1.58 P<0.01),but not in the group of high-normal blood pressure with only SBP or DBP(P>0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed microalbuminuria correlated negatively with blood pressure and fasting blood glucose,SBP(r=0.177 P<0.05),DBP(r=0.252 P=0.001),FBG(r=0.279 P<0.001)。Adjusted age, sex, blood lipoprotein and BMI we found that microalbuminuria levels was also positively correlated with diastolic blood pressure and fasting blood glucose,DBP(r=0.233 P<0.05),FBG(r=0.251 P<0.05), but not with SBP(r=0.156 P=0.055)。Conclusions:.1 Compared with group of normal blood pressure,high-normal blood pressure group appears to be associated with higher microalbuminuria, especialy in the sub-group of high-normal blood pressure with both SBP and DBP。2 Compared with group of normal blood pressure,high-normal blood pressure had higher level of fasting blood glucose,BMI but not CHO,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C。3 The major factor influencing microalbuminuria(MAU) was diastolic blood pressure and fasting blood glucose。4 This study indicates that the microalbuminuria shoud be measured in the high-normal blood pressure group so that the high risk person in endo-vascular injury can be found and treated early.
