By means of a case study, this paper, from a perspective of the current state of the 5-year undergraduate curriculum programming at Zunyi Medical College, along with new requirements for the development of medical talents in the 21st century according to the established international standards for medical education, the transformation of medical model and development of medical science, first gives an insight into the present situation of various overseas and domestic reforms in clinical curriculum programming, then examines the major problems and disadvantages of curriculum programming in clinical medicine in the nation, also discusses the prospect of reforming it, and explores a new approach to reforming the 5-year clinical undergraduate curriculum programming, and makes certain the objectives and principles for it as well.By making use of such research methods as literature review, questionnaire or investigation, contrastive analysis, based upon the pioneers' research findings and accomplishments in the field, and combined with the available school conditions and years of my personal work experience, the thesis puts forward the framework and basic content for the 5-year clinical undergraduate new curriculum programming, constructs modular curriculum programming for undergraduates in clinical medicine and corresponding 20 groups of courses, builds systematically integrated or functionally integrated curricula, sets up curriculum system of humanities and social sciences, such as "Liangke", interdisciplinary sciences, quality education, creates a complete fieldwork teaching system, such as basic practice, professional practice and integrated practice, and proposes a comprehensive testing and evaluation system, such as integrated test of medical basics, integrated test for majors, integrated test for clinical teaching inspection, and OSCE.Through the reform and practice, the purpose is to develop all-rounded special medical talents who are endowed with creativity, an international insight, shows respect for different cultures and religious beliefs, and are capable of processing information and communicating, and are well equipped with the competency to deal with their medical business successfully, in order to secure the physical well-being of the great mass, to provide people with premium health care and medical services, and to be able to relieve the tension between doctors and patients when needed, therefore to contribute one's share to the construction of a harmonious society.
