Objective To evaluate effect of hemodynamics between right high-interventricular septal(RHIV) pacing and right ventricular apex(RVA) pacing. Methods 60 patients, having indictions of pacing, were divided into A group and B group at random. A group including 20 male and 10 female patients received permanent pacing in right high-interventricular septal, which including 16 VVI pacemakers and 14 DDD pacemakers.B group including 14 male and 16 female patients received permanent pacing in right ventricular apex, which including 16 VVI pacemakers and 14 DDD pacemakers.Hemodynamic parameters, included the duration of QRS assessed by electrocardiogram, and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF), left ventricular end-diastolic dimension(LVEDD),stroke volume(Sv),E peak(E),and A-peak velocity of mitral valve, and ratio between E and A(E/A),volume of mitral regurgition assessed by echocardiogam before and after pacemakers implanted respectively. Results The increase of duration of QRS and the decrease of LVEF and Sv is less in RHIV pacing than in RVA pacing. others had no significant. Conclusion RHIV pacing, compared with RVA pacing, appropriate for physiologic pacing.RHIV pacing has little negative effect on hemodynamics, and may be better pacing site.
