Experimental Study Of Shufeng Decoction Resisting Type I Hypersensitivity

Objective:To investigate the effects of Shufeng Decoction on the rise in capillary permeability of the mice caused by histamine and conduct the experimental study by using rats'sensitization animal model of type I hypersensitivity and thus discuss the effects and mechanism of Shufeng Decoction resisting type I hypersensitivity, providing theoretic evidence for the clinical application of Shufeng Decoction to treating acute urticaria.Methods:To determine the effects and mechanism of Shufeng Decoction on the rise in capillary permeability of the mice caused by histamine through the use of spectrophotometer ;sensitization animal models of type I hypersensitivity were induced by OVA.To determine the effect of Shufeng Decoction on the content of IFN-γ,IL-4 and IgE in serum of the rats in group by ELISA.Results:Shufeng Decoction has inhibiting function of the rise in capillary permeability of the mice caused by histamine (P<0.01), but the inhibiting functions of the low,high-dose groups are inferior to the chlorpheniramine group,there is remarkable difference between high-dose group and chlorpheniramine group(P<0.01). Shufeng Decoction can increase the content of IFN-γin the rats'serum of sensitization animal model of type I hypersensitivity , there are remarkable differences of making comparison between Shufeng Decoction group and model group (P<0.05);Shufeng Decoction can decrease the content of IL-4 and IgE in the rats'serum of sensitization animal model of type I hypersensitivity , there are both remarkable differences of making comparison between Shufeng Decoction group and model group(P<0.01) ,and there is no significant difference between the high-dose group of Shufeng Decoction and chlorpheniramine group〔the dose of chlorpheniramine is 4mg/(kg? d)〕(P>0.05); IFN-γ/IL-4 of Shufeng Decoction high-dose group is significant higher than model group and have remarkable differences(P<0.05),compared with chlorpheniramine group , there is no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:Shufeng Decoction has inhibiting function of the rise in capillary permeability of the mice caused by histamine; Shufeng Decoction can increase the content of IFN-γand decrease the content of IL-4 and IgE in the rats'serum of sensitization animal model of type I hypersensitivity.
