The electroencephalogram (EEG) is the person's a total reflection in the cerebral layer or skin of head surface of the brain nerve electrical and physiological activity. The EEG data is the recorded data that has been acquired through objective experiment, which mainly includes small electrical voltage value that responses cerebral change of electrical activity at different time, experimental time sequence and experimental event information etc. Namely, EEG data is also the data of cerebral electrical signal. The time sequence analysis of the EEG data is always what EEG researchers pay attention to. Among them, the correlation analysis for electroencephalogram data is very important part and is also a foundational analysis for other analysis in EEG study. Objective: In this thesis, we have done auto-correlation, cross-correlation and canonical correlation analysis for visually recorded EEG data at event of different quantity of subject's absorbing alcohol. It is acquired and substantiated that auto-correlation, cross-correlation and canonical correlation is changed along with the quantity of subjects'absorbing alcohol by means of correlation analysis of EEG data. Moreover, the correlativity between event of drinking alcohol and cerebral state is substantiated. Methods: We have respectively done correlation analysis for the two group of 10 derivation electrodes'and 21 derivation electrodes'EEG data including 12 classes that are recorded from six normal subjects.Correlation analysis is mainly for EEG data corresponding to six events of drinking 7.2ml alcohol in every other 20 minutes. The methods of analysis for EEG data are auto-correlation, cross-correlation and canonical correlation analysis.EEG data processing and statistic analysis adopt independently designed EEG analysis toolbox and the program of correlation analysis. Results: It is indicated that EEG activity has prominent reaction to absorbing alcohol by means of correlation analysis for different subjects'EEG data corresponding to event of drinking alcohol.A general pattern of material change of every correlation value with the different change of experimental condition and event of drinking alcohol: each derivation's result of auto-correlation analysis and symmetrical left with right derivation's result of cross-correlation analysis substantiate a decreased trend along with increased quantity of subject's absorbing alcohol. After absorbing 36ml alcohol, totally cerebral cross-correlation decreases 39.38%,and totally cerebral auto-correlation decreases 29.14%. EEG wave's stability decreases at the same time.Coefficient of canonical correlation for symmetrical left with right derivations decreases from 0.98 to 0.96, and coefficient of canonical correlation for the frontal with occiput derivations decreases from 0.85 to 0.83. C3,Fp1,F3 of left side, C4,Fp2,F4 of right side, Fpz,Fz,Fp1,F3,F4 of frontal and Oz,Pz,O1,O2,P3,P4 of occiput have prominent reaction to event of absorbing alcohol. The combination coefficients of these derivation electrodes in their corresponding canonical correlation variables are correspondingly larger. The phase of these derivation electrodes'EEG wave change about±180 .Conclusions: EEG activity has prominent reaction to absorbing alcohol. Auto-correlation, cross-correlation and canonical correlation are gradually decreased corresponding to the increased quantity of subject's absorbing alcohol. Among them, cross-correlation decreases prominently, secondly is auto-correlation, endly is caonical correlation. The influence of each part of brain for the canonical correlation of left and right two hemispheres, frontal and occiput of brain is different: forehead, center, coping and occiput have prominent reaction to absorbing alcohol and have prominent influence to cerebral canonical correlation. Reversely, other parts have comparably feeble reaction to absorbing alcohol and have correspondingly feeble influence to cerebral canonical correlation. In conclusions, correlation among cerebral every local, correlation between left and right hemisphere and correlation between frontal and occiput are all gradually decreased along with increased quantity of absorbing alcohol. This demonstrates that increase of quantity of drinking alcohol can result in degression of cerebral equilibrium and stability, and result in increase of extent of inhibitory brain and brainfag at the same time.
