Evidence-based medicine(EBM) is more strengthened in modern medicine other than empirical medicine, it is prompting the development of medicine in the 21th century and has become a new promising tendency. Evidence-based laboratory medicine(EBLM) applies the principles of EBM in laboratory medicine so as to form the systematic theory. Evidence-based medical education(EBME) has developed with the popularity of EBM in medical education and serves as the core idea in modern medical education. It has become a new direction in research for the clinical education in hospitals how to strengthen EBME. The uprising of EBM is guiding the reformation in medical education and will lead to great changes in medical education model; the EBM model will as well lead to the reformation of laboratory medical education model. However, the theory of EBM is not yet perfect, and its application in laboratory medicine has just started, while nit has not been included in laboratory medical education. The research made certain discussion and trials in this field.In this research, the idea of EBM was applied in the practice and education of laboratory medicine. A primary clinical education model of EBLM was set up according to the actual situation of the hospital through questionnaires; its practicality and feasibility were proved with practice. The paper systematical explained the basic system of EBLM, a thorough investigation was made to the clinical application of EBLM so as to study the understanding of EBLM in clinical laboratory staff, the problems, the cause and the resolution. The necessity, importance and urgency for the construction of EBLM education model were discussed as well as the research background, the significance, the methods and the teaching effect with the new model. "Medical Scientific Research Methodology" was finished in the research, it could be served as the reference teaching book in EBLM clinical education.
