A Comparative Study Of Ultrasonic Cardiogram And Heart Sectional Specimen

Objective: To establish a set of anatomic data for ultrasonic cardiac diagnosis, which can match the displaying sections of the main structure of echocardiography, and to provide morphological basis for clinical ultrasonic examination with best examination section, orientation and examining range.Methods : Isolated adults' hearts were filled with 10% gelatin and observed multi-sectionally with transthoracic echocardiographic device. Sections with typical image were located and with the guide of the finished location, the heart was splitted with scalper and then the anatomic informations were recorded with digital-camera. Hearts of normal adults were checked with transthoracic echocardiographic device simultaneously. The sectional anatomic informations and the transthoracic echocardiography images were synthetically analyzed to define the location of main cardiac structures so as to supply sonographer with the best observing site and the most important area in echocardiographic work.Results: By observing the multi-section constitution of the isolated heart with echocardiographic device, a set of transthoracic echocardiography of normal adults was obtained, which includes the images of main cardiac structures, such as long axis view of left ventricle, short axis view of left ventricle at the level of mitral valve, short axis view of the heart base ,short axis view of left ventricle at the level of papillary muscles, short axis view of left ventriclar apex, four chamber view, five chamber view, and suprasternal long axis view of aorta.Conclusion:â‘ By means of gelatin injection, we obtained limpid sonogram of the isolated heart and completed the isolated heart modeling by the sonogram successfully, explored a new research method for the further study of the ultrasonic anatomy of the chambers heart complicated structure.â‘¡We determined the best observation deck of some complicated structure transt-chest chambers heart,and provided reliable morph basic data for the further research of the cardial sectional image anatomy.â‘¢We identified the adjacent relationship of the main structure about the commonly used cardiac ultrasound inspection, the result has significance in directing clinical diagnosis by the transthoracic echocardiography correctly and improving diagnosis and treatment level.
