Objective:To evaluate the efficiency and security of ozone on blood purification in acute carbon monoxide poisoning(ACMP) rabbit model.Methods:A total of 24 anesthetized New Zealand rabbits,with body weight ranging from 2.2 to 2.6 kg,were administrated by intraperitoneal injection CO(99%purity) to establish the ACMP model.All were randomly divided into 3 groups on average,which include blood purification with ozone groups,oxygen groups and control groups,ozone was carried on blood purification therapy by JH-Blood Purification System in ozone groups.Oxygen was given by High-Flow mask oxygen inhalation(SL/min) in oxygen groups.Control group doesn't take any interventions.The vital sign changes of animals were observed;and dynamically monitored the carboxyhemoglobin(COHb) level in blood,saturation of blood oxygen(SO2) and base excess(BE-B)variation.Results:A significant difference was found among in three groups that heart rate and respiratory rate were changed with time increasing(P<0.05),also a significant difference was found in tendency(P<0.05) and inter-groups(P<0.05).The value of COHb,SO2 and BE-B were presented by Quatratic,and a significant difference was found in tendency with the time changing(P<0.05).Normal running of JHPUS-1 Blood Purification System can satisfied the experiment requirement.Conclusions:CO was single injected into rabbits intraperitoneally at a dosage of 200 ml/kg,to establish the ACMP model is successful and efficiency.ozone on blood purification in acute carbon monoxide poisoning(ACMP) therapy can utility to lower the carboxyhemoglobin(COHb)level,elevate SO2,correct acidosis and security.It can offer a new essay to treat the ACMP.JH- Blood Purification System operate normally and stabilization of ozone flow rate,to satisfy the general requirements of the research.
