Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of the SMI on post-stroke with acute lung injury and discuss its mechanism through experimental study. Methods: Choose 60 cases of patients of post-stroke with acute lung injury,divide them into two group,conventional drug treatment for the control group, SMI and conventional medication for the treatment group. targets were selected resairatory rate, PaO2, SaO2,Oi. To further explore SMI mechanism on the following experimental study.22 healthy adult male Wistar rats were divided into three groups, Group A for the normal group, group B for the model group, group C for SMI;group C rats were injected by SMI with intraperitoneal for five days,group A and B were not given any pretreatment. After anesthesia, group C were clipped bilateral jin artery for two hours, reperfused for four hours, and collected blood and the lung. Group B were the same with group C, and collected the brain tissue. Group A directly were collected blood, lung and brain.Results: The treatment group were improved more obviously in the resairatory rate, SaO2, PaO2 than the control group (P <0.05), compared with the control group, the treatment group in Oi were improved significantly, but not statistical significance (P> 0.05). In experimental research, compared with the normal group, the SMI group and model were increased in TNF-a, IL-8, ET, and there were significant differences (P <0.01) .compared with the model group, SMI group were increased at the lower level, and had statistical significance (P <0.01). At pathological changes in lung tissue, the model group were obviouse,SIM group were lighter than model group , the normal group were basically normal.Conclusion: SMI on stroke patients with acute lung injury has a protective effect, the mechanism maybe related with reduction of TNF-a, IL-8, ET ,and thus to protect the lung tissue...
