| [Objects]Observing the clinical effect that Xuanbi Shuxintang treats stable angina due to blockage of phlegm and blood stasis.[Method] 60 sufferers were divided into two groups at random. One was the treatment group which had 30 sufferers treated with xuanbi shuxintang decoction, the other was the control group which had 30 sufferers treated with Tongxinluo capsule. The two groups'treatment course was 4 weeks. At the same time, the change of ECG and the state of physical symptom were observed, the curative effect on cholesterol and triglyceide were also observed.[Result]The curative effect in the clinical research of the treatment group was obviously:its total effective rate amounted to 90.00%,which was superior to the control group. The improvement of ECG in the treatment group is as much as the control group (p>0.05 ). The symptom and the physical symptom of the treatment group had improved more obviously than that of the control group, and the difference was significant(p<0.05). The cholesterol and triglyceide of the treatment group had degraded more obviously than that of the control group, and the difference was evident(p<0.05).
