Objective To evaluate curative effect of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage(HICH) with moderate and severe treated by simply directional craniopuncture and dissolution of urokinase. Method As observation group, 325 patients with HICH treated by simply directional craniopuncture and dissolution of urokinase(puncture drainage group) were selected between January 1998 and October 2007 in Dinxi People's Hospital. At the same time, 330 patients with HICH treated by surgical operation and 300 patients with HICH treated by medical treatment were selected as control group. Curative effect were contrasted by the gross effective rate, the fatality rate and nerve function defect grading. Result Puncture drainage group patient overall effective rate was 76.9%, which was obviously higher than surgical treatment group (36.4%) and medical treatment group (33.3%), comparing the surgical treatment group and the medical treatment to the puncture drainage group respectively had statistics difference (p<0.01). The puncture drainage group's fatality rate was 20%, the surgical treatment group and the medical treatment group the mortality rate respectively were 48.5% and 60%. The puncture drainage group's fatality rate was obviously lower than the surgical treatment group and the medical treatment group, and they had statistics difference (p<0.01). Nerve function defect grading of every groups treated before and after had statistics difference(p<0.01). The groups also had statistics significance (p<0.01). Conclusion The treatment of simply directional craniopuncture and the dissolution of urokinase were not only less damage, convenient and cheap, but also safety and effective. It was more applicable to the grass-roots unit which had not ability to treat more complex conditions of HICH.
