This dissertation is composed of three chapters.The first chapter focuses on the chemical constituents of Flemingia ferruginea with traditional phytochemical separation and analysis method, 16 compounds were isolated and identified asβ-Stigmasterol (1), stigmasterol-3-β-O-D-glucoside (2),β-sitosterol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (3), 5-hydroxy-8-γ,γ-dimethylallyl-6'', 6''-dimethyl-pyrano(6, 7: 3'', 2'')chromone (4), eriosematin (5), couratea-catechin (6), flemichin D (7), genistein (8) 5, 7, 3', 4'-tetrahydroxyisoflavone, (9), formononetin (10), daidzein (11), genistein-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (12), 5, 7-dihydroxy-4'-methoxyisoflavone-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (13), genistein-7-O-β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside (14), p-hydroxybenzoic esters (15). betulinic acid (16), genistein and its 6 isoflavone analogs are the main chemical constituents of this plant.The second chapter reports the chemical constituents study on the bark of Anthocephalus chinensis, 10 compounds were gained from the bark of Anthocephalus chinensis by silica gel, RP-18, and MCI column chromatographies. Their structures were identified by spectral analysis(MS, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR). 10 compounds were isolated and identified asβ-Stigmasterol (1),β-sitosterol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranosid (2), oleanol (3), ursolic acid (4), clethric acid (5), antiarol (6), benzoic acid (7), 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester (8), 2,4-dihydroxy-6-methylbexzoic acid methyl ester (9), cadambine (10). Compounds 5, 8 and 9 are separated from Anthocephalus chinensis, firstly.The third chapter presents the study on anti-tumor of some flavoniods and alkaloids, myrtifolic acid,genistein,5, 7, 4'-trihydroxy-8,3'-diprenylflavanone and 5, 7, 4'-trihydroxy-6-prenylisoflavone,lespedezaflavanone A are cytotoxic.
