Objective:To probe the effects of bone cement implantation to the cardiovascular system during hemiarthroplasty of hip. Methods:From January 2003 to January 2008,173 patients treated with hemiarthroplasty of hip were collected and bone cement was used in all cases. The changes of blood pressure(SBP,DBP), central venous pressure (CVP), heart rate(HR), saturation of blood oxygen(SpO2) and electro- cardiogram(ECG) were observed and recorded at the 5min before(T), immediately(T0),1min(T1),3min(T3),5min(T5),10min(T10) after implantation of bone cement during operation.Results:1,SBP and DBP both decreased at the 1min(T1),5min(T5) after implantation of bone cement(p<0.05) and these decreased obviously at the 3min(T3)(p<0.01). At the 10min after implantation of bone cement(T10), these recovered to the level of the 5min before(T)(p>0.05).2,CVP decreased at the immediately(T0), 1min(T1), 3min(T3), 5min(T5) after implantation of bone cement(p<0.01,p<0.05). At the 10min the implantation of bone cement(T10), it recovered to the level of the 5min before(T) (p>0.05). 3,HR significantly increased at the immediately(T0), 1min(T1), 3min(T3), 5min(T5), 10min(T10) after implantation of bone cement(p< 0.01,p<0.05). At the 10min the implantation of bone cement(T10), it often recovered to the level of the 5min before(T)(p>0.05).Conclusion: 1,During hemiarthroplasty of hip, SBP and DBP decrease dramatically at the 3min(T3) after the implantation of bone cement and recovered to normal at the 10min(T10).2,During hemiarthroplasty of hip, CVP significantly decrease and HR significantly increase at the 1min(T1),3min(T3) after the implantation of bone cement and these recover to normal at the 10min(T10).
