Expression Of Survivin,P27,Ki-67 In Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma And Effects On Apoptosis And Proliferation Of Lymphoma Cells

Objective To explore the expression of survivin,p27 and ki-67 in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and effects on apoptosis and proliferation of lymphoma cells.Materials and Methods 44 cases of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and 20 cases of reactive lymphoid hyperplasia were collected from Department of Pathology of this hospital from January 2005 to March 2007. All the cases were classified and diagnosed according to the WHO2001 Classification of Haematopoietic and Lymphoid Tissues. Then,the technology of immunochemistery were applied to analysis the expression of survivin,p27 and ki-67 in 44 cases of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and 20 cases of reactive lymphoid hyperplasia. At last, we performed SPSS13.0 sofeware to analyses the final data.Results (1)Among 44 cases of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma,the expression rates of survivin and ki-67 were 88.64%(39/44) and 86.36%(38/44), respectively. The rates were significantly higher than that of reactive lymphoid hyperplasia (P<0.05). The expression rate of p27 in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma was 52.27%(23/44) which was lower than that of reactive lymphoid hyperplasia (P<0.05). (2) The expression level of survivin in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma was inversely correlated with p27 and significantly correlated with ki-67(P<0.05),the expression level of p27 in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma also was inversely correlated with ki-67. (3) The expression of survivin in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma showed no significant correlation with the patients'gender,age, clinical stage,presence of extranodal diseases, source of lymphoma cells and serum lactate dehydrogenase values.At the same time,the expression of p27 and ki67 also showed no significant corre1ation with the patients'gender,age, clinical stage,presence of extranodal diseases, source of lymphoma cells and serum lactate dehydrogenase values.Conclusion The expression of survivin,p27 and ki-67 might not only play an important role in the development and progression of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma,but also effect on apoptosis and proliferation of lymphoma cells.so they can be used as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma extremely valuable prognostic indicators of molecular biology. Taken together,it was suggested that survivin,p27 and ki-67 could help guide clinical treatment and improve the prognosis of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.It would be effectiveness and feasibility to combine detection of survivin,p27 and ki-67 for determining the malignant degree,aggressive degree and prognosis of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
