[Objective]Clinical experiments showed that early rehabilitation in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction will heighten conspicuously patients' motor function and activity of daily living, but animal experiments discover drill immoderate after apoplexy could enlarge cortex lesion and augmentate ischemia demi-diazone. Neuron-specific Enolase correlated closely with neuron injury and could be important parameter to estimate injury degree of neuron. Glutathione-S-Transferase is one of the most important antioxidase. The aim is to judge whether early rehabilitation could aggravate injury of brain cell utilizing Neuron-specific Enolase and Glutathione-S-Transferase as parameter and change the tendency of Neuron-specific Enolase and Glutathione-S-Transferase after Acute Cerebral Infarction.[Methods] There were three groups: control group, rehabilitation group and no-rehabilitation group.60 cases with acute cerebral infarction were divided into rehabilitation group and no-rehabilitation group with 30 cases in each group. Patients of the two groups were treated with routine therapy. Those of the rehabilitation group were added with regular rehabilitation therapy. The scores of SSS and ADL were assessed after admission and 14 days after falling ill, NSE and GST in serum were examined after admission, 7and 14 days after falling ill in two groups. NSE and GST in serum were examined in normal control group with 20 cases.[Results]After admission, 7and 14 days after falling ill in two groups, the concentration of NSE increased first then decreased. The concentration of GST increased gradually. The concentration of NSE of the two groups were all significantly higher than that of the control group(P <0.05), NSE concentrations of rehabilitation group and no-rehabilitation group after admission and that of 7 days after falling ill had no significance ( P>0.05),NSE of rehabilitation group were lower than that of no-rehabilitation group 14 days after falling ill( P <0.05).GST of rehabilitation group and no-rehabilitation group had no significance after admission, 7and 14 days after falling ill( P>0.05),but the two groups were all lower than that of the normal control group( P <0.05).The SSS and ADL scores of the rehabilitation group was significantly higher than that of the no-rehabilitation group ( P <0.05).[Conclusion]Early rehabilitation could improve the nerve function of patients with cerebral infarction recovering, improve prognosis and couldn't aggravate injury of brain cell. NSE in serum examined on the 7 days after falling ill in two groups was highest in thrice examinations. Hydrocephalus after acute cerebral infarction injured the central nervous system. GST of rehabilitation group and no-rehabilitation group were all lower than that of the normal control group.
