Bee pollen was one of the natural health products,and was known as the almighty nutrition.With the studying of plant polysaccharides,bee pollen polysaccharide had gradually been paid attention to by the researchers. Polysaccharide was one of the most important components in Bee Pollen,and it was valuable to develop.In this paper,extraction,separation,purification and bioactivity of Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide were researched,the results were as follows:1.Ultrasound-assisted technology was used to extract polysaccharide from Camellia bee pollen,and four conditions(ultrasonic pretreatment time,extraction temperature,extraction time,ration of solid-liquid)were optimized by orthogonal experiment design.The results show that extraction temperature,ultrasonic pretreatment time and extraction time were significant differences.So the optimum conditions of extraction were ultrasonic pretreatment 30 min,100℃extraction temperature,2 h extraction time,ration of solid-liquid 1:8.2.The studies on effects of different volumes ethanol on precipitating Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide show that,when the volume ratio of ethanol and polysaccharide liquid was 3.5:1,the maximum polysaccharide was obtained.The studies on effects of different volumes 10%trichloroacetic acid on precipitating protein of polysaccharide liquid show that,it had best deproteinization when the volume ratio of 10%trichloroacetic acid and polysaccharide liquid was 1:1.Two polysaccharide peaks were found though Sephadex G-75 elution,and the content of high molecular weight was less than low molecular weight.3.The studies on anticoagulant effects of Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide show that,Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide can prolong the cruor time of rabbit in vitro.After 14 days when the Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide was injected in the peritoneal cavity of mice at the dosage of 300 mg/kg·d,it can prolong the cruor time in vitro and bleeding time of mice.The results show that the Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide has anticoagulative action. 4.The studies on effects of Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide on immune function of mice show that,the Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide can improve notably the indexes of thymus,liver and spleen of mice after 14 days when it was injected in the peritoneal cavity of normal mice at the dosage of 300 mg/kg·d.When the Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide was injected in the peritoneal cavity of diabetic mice at different dosages which are 75 mg/kg·d,150 mg/kg·d and 300 mg/kg·d,they all had functions of improving the indexes of thymus,liver and spleen. Therefore,the Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide has the function of improving the immunity of mice.5.The studies on hypoglycemic effects of Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide show that,When the Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide was injected in the peritoneal cavity of diabetic mice at different dosages which are 75 mg/kg·d,150 mg/kg·d and 300 mg/kg·d,the three dosages all had functions of lowing the blood glucose levels of diabetic mice.The results show that the Camellia bee pollen polysaccharide has some hypoglycemic action.
