Objective: To observe the role of urodynamics and type-B ultrasonic examination onthe prostate volume and the extent of intravesical prostatic protrusion, in order todiscover the role of urodynamics ultrasonic examination on men with benignprostatic hyperplasia. Methods: The two hundreds and twenty seven patients with BPH underwenturodynamic tests and type-B ultrasonic and gained the parameters of urodynamicProstate volume and the length of intravesical prostatic protrusion in order to analyzethe relationship among them..Results: The bigger of the prostate volume of the patients, the more of the men withintravesical prostatic protrusion and bladder outlet obstruction , and by the volume ofprostate became larger ,the instability of detrusor pressure increased. The parametersof urodynamic (max. free flow, detrusor pressure at max) had statistical significancein the different prostate volume. The correlation between the parameters ofurodynamic (max free flow, detrusor pressure at max) and the prostate volume weresignificant. Conclusion: The bigger of theprostate volume of the patients, the more of the menwho had intravesical prostatic protrusion and bladder outlet obstruction. Most peoplewith benign prostatic hyperplasia were discovered bladder outlet obstruction and thedamanification of detrusor urinae. The urodynamics should be undertaken as soon aspossible in order to identify the diagnosis and institute reasonable therapeuticregimen.
