The Physiological Factors Of Aortic Root Constructions In Chinese

Objective:The factors that influence the constructions of aortic root have been studied for thirty years. However, which factors are related with the constructions are still a controversy . In this study , we studied the relationship between factors and constructions of aortic root in Chinese with echocardiography .The factors are sex, age ,hight ,weight ,body mass index (BMI) ,body surface area (BSA), systolic blood pressure(SBP), diastolic blood pressure(DBP) , pulse pressure.MethodsWe measured diameters of aortic sinus, aortic central , aortic arch in 748 subjects with Two-dimensional ultrasound. At the same time,we record the factors such as sex, age, hight ,weight ,body mass index (BMI) ,body surface area (BSA), systolic blood pressure(SBP), diastolic blood pressure(DBP) , pulse pressure .In the end ,33 subjects were removed, 715 available subjects were included in this study. (715 of 748,95.6%)Results:We get three multiple regression equations.1. (?) sinus =17.148+4.553XBSA+0.056Xage-1.276Xsex+0.027XDBP The related factors to aortic sinus are age, BSA, sex and diastolic blood pressure. The age is the most important factor.2. (?) central =12.565+4.690XBSA -1.053X性别+0.022X年龄The related factors to aortic central are BSA, sex, and age. The BSA is the most important factor.3. (?) arch =13.645+4.694 XBSA +0.051X年龄.The related factors are age and BSA. The age are more important factor. Conclusion: 1.The diameters of the aortic sinus, aortic centra, aortic arch are different in sex. The difference of aortic sinus, aortic centra between female and male can be explained by sex. But the difference of aortic arch between female and male cannot be explained by sex.2.Body surface area (BSA) is the important factor that influence the diameters of the aortic sinus, aortic centra, aortic arch .The diameters of the aortic sinus, aortic centra, aortic arch Increase with body surface area (BSA). Body surface area (BSA) is the most important factor to aortic centra.3.Age is the important factor that influence the diameters of the aortic sinus, aortic centra, aortic arch .The diameters of the aortic sinus, aortic centra, aortic arch Increase with age. Body surface area (BSA) is the most important factor to aortic sinus and aortic arch.4.The diameter of the aortic sinus Increased with diastolic blood pressure.
