| Objective: To study the incidence and high risk factors of Asthma and recurrent wheezing in children with respiratory syncytial virrus bronchiolitis and how to reasonably prevent them. Methods:We reviewed the 393 data of the children with respiratory syncytial virus bronchiolitis from January 2001 to December 2002 in the Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Suzhou University ,ascertainment methods contain trying to contact their parents and reviewing case files ,and their parents were asked whether the study subject had experienced any wheezing, study subject and their parent′s allergic constitution , their parent asthma history , and study subject history ,et al .When we reviewed case files ,we pay attention to state of illness , methods of using glucocorticoid ,tite of RSV masculine et al. Data were analyzed with software SPSS 11.5,Diference having a P value <0.05 were considered significance . Results: In all 393 cases ,there were 76 cases with recurrent wheezing(the incidence was 19.3℅)and 69 cases with asthma(the incidence was 17.6%)in the end . The high risk factors of inducing asthma after infection RSV were allergic constitution ,family member allergic constitution , passive smoking, pet, et al. The high risk factors of inducing recurrent wheezing after infection RSV were passive smoking, pets ,premature labor, low birth weight infant, anaemia , rachitis , artificial feeding,et al. Conclution :We should reasonably prevent the high risk factors of inducing asthma by avoiding passive smoking and treating anaphylactic deseases;The infants whose family have allergic constitution had better avoid RSV infection; The infants with RSV infection which may lead to recurrent wheezing should be given to reasonably preventions by avoiding passive smoking , advocating breast feeding ,prevention and cure anaemia rachitis,et al.
