Objective: Hallux Valgus is a common disease of foot. The main clinical manifestations is the deformity of the forefoot,pain and the formation of callus. It is the focus of study and hot spots of foot surgery in recent years. The first metatarsal sesamoids system plays an important role in the pathogenesis of hallux valgus. Diagnosis and treatment of foot-related diseases in our department has been carried for many years, has an experienced full surgical team. There are adequate number of cases can be chosen to study. Method: 60 patients of hallux valgus feet were applied by the minimal incision and manipulations procedure. The variation of the symptoms and X-ray before and after the procedure were studied and analyzed. Result: There was significant statistical difference between preoperative and postoperative. Conclusion: The minimal incision and manipulations procedure plays a certain role in reduction of the first metatarsal sesamoids system.
