Objective Analyse the clinical characterize of the primary pulmonary cryptococcosis.Method 3 cases of primary pulmonary cryptococcosis,diagnosed at The Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from January 2002 to October 2007,confirmed by pathological examinations,were collected.Analyse the clinical manifestations,CT findings,diagnosis,treatments and prognosis of the primary pulmonary cryptococcosis.To sum up the epid-emiology, predisposing factor,clinical features,diagnosis and treatment methods.Result From the literatures and the 3 cases,primary pulmonary cryptococcosis without the underlying predisposing conditions of chronic disease,long term used corticosteroid and immunsurpression.3 patients have not obvious symptoms,some patients only have slightly cough,small amounts of white sputum and chest pain.The CT findings of the primary pulmonary cryptococcosis commonly are solitary mass and patchy foci,which close to the lower lobes or peripherad of pleura.The dagnosis of the 3 patients depend on histopathological examination.Conclusions The clinical manifestations and the CT findings of primary pulmonary cryptococcosis are nonspecific.It is often miss-diagnosed and misdiagnosed as lung cancer,pulmonary tuberculosis and pneumonia.Diagnosis depends on histopathological examination.It mostly has not the complication of cryptococcal meningitis.It can be cured through the application of anti-fungi drugs and operation.
