Objective:discussed the prognostic value of CRP for the prognosis of acute myocardial infarction and found out the factors that influenced serum CRP level.Method:We performed a retrospective analysis including 132 patients with AMI in GXMU The First Affiliated Hospital during Mar 2003 to July 2007.Data of age, gender, history of hypertension, history of hyperlipidemia, history of diabetes mellitus, history of smoking,BMI,branches of coronary atherosclerotic,CRP concentration in serum,ALB concentration and heart function level of patients were collected. The patients were divided into sudden cardiac attack group and sudden cardiac attack-free group according sudden cardiac attack happen or not. Result:No statistical significance was detected between the two group in factors of history of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, history of diabetes mellitus, history of smoking,BMI and branches of coronary atherosclerotic, while CRP concentration is much higher in sudden cardiac attack group than that in sudden cardiac attack-free group.(35.04±5.24mg/L vs 8.47±1.04mg/L,P<0.001);however, ALB in sudden cardiac attack group is much lower than that in sudden cardiac attack-free group(32.90±0.93 vs 36.85±0.53g/L,P<0.05).Rlationship between CRP concentration in serum and sudden cardiac attack was detected by correlate analysis.CRP concentration is affected by ALB as well as heart functionConclusion:CRP concentration in serum is related positively to incidence of sudden cardiac attack, while it is related negatively to ALB concentration in serum and positive to heart function classification.CRP concentration in serum maybe well indicated prognosis of incidence of sudden cardiac in AMI patients.
