Clinical Features Of 25 Cases With Rare Pancreatic Malignant Or Borderline Tumor

Objective To analyze and summarize the clinical features and therapeutic methods of rare pancreatic malignant or borderline tumor,so as to improve the understanding of it.Methods Twenty-five cases of rare pancreatic malignant or borderline tumor were collected during January 2000 to January 2007 in Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine.Results①The cases with rare pancreatic malignant or borderline tumor account for 13.02%(25/192)in all the cases diagnosed by pathology.②The clinical symptoms and signs included abdominal pain(72%),jaundice(20%),abdominal mass(8%).③44%of the tumors located in pancreatic head.④The sensitivity of CA19-9 is 44.4%.⑤Radical operation accounts for 64%and palliative operation account for 12%.⑥The postoperative survival time of pancreatic malignant stromal tumor,solid pseudopapillary tumor, well-differentiated endocrine cell carcinoma and clear cell carcinoma has surpassed 32.2months on average and all these patients are still alive.Conclusion It is important for early diagnosis and choosing the best therapeutic way to be familiar with the clinical features of the rare pancreatic malignant or borderline tumor.
