| Mangrove,the predominantly salt-water plant community grows on the tropic and subtropic sheltered coastlines,mud flats and river bank in many part of the world.Due to its special ecosystem,it has been considered as a rich source for natural products,and become the hot topic of natural products chemistry field.In order to search for novel bioactive natural products from mangrove plants,we have investigated the chemical constituents and bioactivities of Pluchea indica.Guided by antitumor bioactivity assay,and on the base of all kinds of chromatographic techniques and spectroscopic methods,24 compounds were isolated and elucidated by spectroscopic methods from the low polarity extract of the twigs and stems of semi-mangrove plant Pluchea indica collected from Hainan China,namely 2-(pant-1,3-diynyl)-5-(4-hydroxy-3ethoxy-but-1-ynyl)-thiophene(1), 2-(2-(oxiran-2-yl)ethynyl)-5-(4-hydroxy-but-1-ynyl)-thiophen e(2),2-(pant-1,3-diynyl)-5-(4-acetoxy-3-hydroxy-but-1-ynyl)-thiophene(3),2-(pant-1,3-diynyl)5-(4-acetoxy-3-chloro-but-1-ynyl)-thiophene(4), 2-(pant-1,3-diynyl)-5-(3,4-dihydroxy-but-1-ynyl)-thiophene(5), 7αH-Eremophil-13-hydroxy-1(10),8-dien-2-one(6),7αH-Eremophilan-2β,8α, 13-triol(7),7αH-Eremophil-8β,13-hydroxy-1(10),3-dien-2-one(8),valenc-1(10)-ene-8α,13-diol (9),valenc-1(10)-ene-2α,8α,13-triol(10),1,2,4,8-tetramethyl-(4R,7S,8R,11R)-3 -cycloundecenon (11),Friedooleanan-3-one(12),Lupane-3,18,19-triol(13),oleanolic acid(14),quercetin(15),2,6dihydroxy-4-methoxybenzaldehyde(16), 1H-indole-3-carbaldehyde(17),4-((E)-but-1-enyl)benzene-1, 2-diol(18),stigmaasterol(19),Stigmasta-4,20(22)-dien-3-one(20),β-sitosterol(21),4α,5βdi-O-caffeoyl quinic acid methyl ester(22),4β,5β-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid methyl ester(23),4α, 5β-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid butyl ester(24).Amoung these compouds 1,2,6,7,8 were isolated as the new compouds.Their structures were determined on the basis of extensive spectroscopic data analysis.The extraction portion of petroleum,acetoacetate,n-butanol and water have been screened against human antitumor cell-lines,and petroleum extraction showed significant inhibition toward to HL-60,the acetoacetate extraction exhibitted significant inhibition against BEL-7402, BGC-823 and KB too.Among the 24 compounds,only valenc-1(10)-ene-8α,13-diol(9)showed milky activitys against Bei-7402 and A2780 cells. |
