The Duchesnea indica(Andr.)Focke, which is a plant of family Duchesnea, has theeffect of alleviating fever, disintoxication and mobilization of blood circulation. In recent years, studies on Duchesnea indica always focused on the whole grass, while there was no detailed research on specific parts of it. In this thesis, we selected theseeds and leaves for the study. Previous research lacked systematic study on the chemicalcomposition of it, and the mechanism of its anti-tumor effect is not yet clear. Therefore, the aim of this article is to research the chemical composition of seeds and leaves ofDuchesnea indica, and on this basis to find compounds with anti-cancer activity, so as toreveal the pharmacological mechanism of anti-tumor.Ninteen chemical compounds were isolated by means of silica gel columnchromatography(CC), preparative thin layer chromatography(PTLC) and recrystal-lization etc. The structures of these compounds were elucidated by spectroscopicmethods: ESI-MS, GC-MS, UV-VIS, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, DEPT, 1H-1H COSY,HMQC,HMBC. Eleven compounds isolated from Focke were elucidated as:β-Sitosterol(1),Cholesteryl ketone (2), Bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate(3), Phytol(4), (5-Formylfuran-2-yl)methyl acetate(5), 5-(Hydroxymethyl)furan-2-carbaldehyde(6), Succinic acid(7), Clemap-henol A(8), Ellagic acid(9), Daucostarine(10), 1-O-Methyl-α-D-glucosidase(11).
