Evaluation Of The Spleen And Stomach Disease PRO(SSD-PRO) Scale's Responsibility To Change

Objectives: To evaluate the responsibility to change, rationality, practicability, validity, maneuverability of the clinical cure effect of the Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Spleen and Stomach disease PRO (patient reported outcomes) scale , using the scale to investigate patients of chronic gastritis in clinic.Methods: The adult patients of chronic gastritis who with the educational background at lest primary school were selected to be informant . Under the investigator's instruction, the informants filled in the Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Spleen and Stomach disease PRO scale and SF-36 scale before cure. Then, let them fill in the two scales again and evaluate the curative effect at first week, second week, third week and fourth week of cure. Establishment database, evaluation of scale' s responsibility to change, criteria validity and dependability with the clinical cure effect that patients thought by used statistics software SPSS11.0 to carry on analysis of variance and correlation analysis.Results: The correlation coefficients of vitality with complexion and vitality(VT), independence and role-physical (RP), psychology and mental health (MH) , the total scores of the Spleen and Stomach disease PRO scale (SSD-PRO) and SF-36 scale are highest than others, r>0.6(P<0.01). The correlation coefficients of pain with discomfort and VT, environment and social functioning (SF) of the two scales higher than other dimensions (P <0. 01). The correlation coefficients of digest function and bodily pain (BP) , Social footing and SF, physiology and physical functioning (PF) , physiology and BP, physiology and VT, pain with discomfort and the questions of number 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 as a portion and BP, r>0.5(P <0. 01). All of the teams have well correlation. They prove that the two scales have well correlation.Except the medical treatment scores of before and after cure of SSD-PRO are not difference (P> 0.05) , the scores of vitality with complexion, pain with discomfort, digest function, stool, Social footing, physiology, independence, psychology, environment and total scores of before and after cure are difference(P>0. 05) .They prove that SSD-PRO has good responsibility to change.The correlation coefficient of the SSD-PRO and the clinical cure effect Evaluation came from patients is more that 0.7 (P<0. 01). The correlation coefficient of digest function, physiology and the clinical cure effect Evaluation came from patients is more that 0. 4 (P<0. 01). They prove SSD-PRO and the clinical cure effect Evaluation came from patients have good correlation.Conclusion: The PRO scale of the Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Spleen and Stomach disease with well responsibility to change, and it is scientific, pragmatic, effective and exercisable. It could use in the clinic as an instrument of the Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Spleen and Stomach disease' s clinical cure effect.
