Clinical Study On Intervention Of Xuesaitong Soft Capsule On Coronary Heart Disease Patients After PCI

ObjectiveTo evaluate the intervention of Xuesaitong Soft Capsules(XSC血塞通软胶囊)on coronary heart disease(CHO)patients after successful percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).MethodsA total of 60 CHD patients after successful percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)from Guangdong TCM hospital heart center were randomized into two groups,the treated group(n=30)and control group(n=30),the baseline information between two groups had no significant difference(P＞0.05).They were all treated with conventional Western medicines base on the guideline, mainly including aspirin,clopidogrel and atorvastatin.while to the treated group,XSC was given additionally through oral intake(2 capsules three times per day)for 3 months.If enrolled patients had other diseases,added correspondent drugs according to the relative guideline.The following index were observed:rehospitalization,recurrent angina,LVEF,high-sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),serum lipid(CHOL,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C)and the Chinese Medicine Treatment Effective Score(CMTES).ResultsTreated for 3 months,the difference of the rehospitalization had no statistical significance in two groups(P＞0.05);the recurrent angina in the treated group were obviously less than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the CMTES in the treated group were better than that before treatment and that in the control group,the difference had statistical significance(P＜0.05);and there were no difference before and after treatment in the control group(P＞0.05).The LVEF in two group had enhanced,and the treated group was better than the control group,the difference had statistical significance(P＜0.05).The level of Hs-CRP in two groups were all significantly lower than that before treatment(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01),and the difference in the treated group was better than that in the control group. Compared to the control group;the level of Hs-CRP after treatment in the treated group was significantly lower(P＜0.05).In two groups,the CHOL,LDL-C were all significantly degraded compared to before treatment,the difference had statistical significance(P＜0.01),the CHOL,LDL-C in the treated group after treatment were lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05 or 0.01); the TG was lower after treatment in two group(P＜0.05),the comparisons between two groups had no significant difference(P＞0.05);the level of HDL-C seemed to advance,but had no statistical significance(P＞0.05).The safety monitoring showed every laboratory checks seemed to have the same result after treatment as that before treatment.We haven' t yet discovered depravation, hinting the Xuesaitong soft Capsule has a good safety and no obvious or serous side-effects.ConclusionsThe Xuesaitong Soft Capsule can effectively decrease the recurrent angina after PCI,relieve the symptoms,improve the CMTES,enhance the left ventricle contractile function,inhibit inflammatory reaction and improve serum lipid metabolism,especially degrade the LDL-C,so that effect the CHD patients after PCI in whole,without side-effect and toxicity.
