The Study On The Intervention And Its Mechanism Of Panax Quinquefolium L In The Formation Of Insulin Resirtance Rat

Insulin resistance refers biological effect produced by certain amount of insulin was lower than the normal lever.That was to say,sensitiveness and/or reactivity of target tissue(such as muscles,liver and fat)to endogenous or exogenous insulin degraded,causing that the physiological effect produced by normal amount of insulin was lower than the normal lever, or that the normal lever produced by elevated insulin level.Insulin resistance is the significant feature of non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus(NIDDM)and the common pathomechanism of obesity,hypertension, lipid metabolism abnormality and atherosclerosis.This study aims at illuminating the intervention and its mechanism of Panax quinquefolium L in the formation of animal model of rat insulin resistance,thus laying foundation for the further study on the metabolism of Panax quinquefolium L's application in insulin resistance,and providing the experiment foundation for Panax quinquefolium L's application in such insulin resistance relative diseases as diabetes,hypertension and so on.Objective:to study the intervention and its imechanism of Panax quinquefolium L in the formation of insulin resistanceMethods:Regarded SDrat as the experimental subjects,induced insulin resistance by the high-fat food and streptozotocin(STZ),all Panax quinquefolium L dosage groups administrated Panax quinquefolium L broth at corresponding dose,normal control group fed a normal diet.Measuring Fasting Blood Glucose,Fasting Insulin and Insulin Sensitivity Index after 10 weeks, regarded Insulin Sensitivity Index as evaluation index.Observing the effect of Panax quinquefolium L on the morphology of insulin resistance rat and on Total Cholesterol,Triglyceride,Free Fatty Acid and leptin.Conclusions:1,Panax quinquefolium L can obviously improve insulin resistance rat's state,degrade fasting insulin and improve insulin sensitivity. 2,Panax quinquefolium L can improve the pathologic state of pancreas, tthus improving insulin resistance3,Panax quinquefolium L can degrade the level of Total Cholesterol, Triglyceride and Free Fatty Acid,thus improving insulin resistance from the view of lipid metabolism.4,Panax quinquefolium L can improve the level of leptin,thus improving insulin resistance from the view of adipocyte...
