Objective: on studying the health status and its influencing factors for different Seniority, different types of radiation workers, this paper is to explore the effect of the occupational exposure to radiation, which can provide a strong basis for the future establishment of occupational health standards.Subjects and Methods: 732 subjects were selected with cluster-random-sampling from radiation staff engaged in medical X-ray diagnosis, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy and other medical applications, industrial radiation, industrial radiography and small sealed source applications in hunan Province. Methods include the clinical and laboratory examinations. Results: the main results are as follows :(1) the rate of radiation works hemoglobin abnomal was 17.1%,the rate of leukocyte abnomal was 5.1%, the rate of platelet abnomal was 5.5%,the rate of neutrophil was 4.5%, the rate of lymphocyte was 23.9%, the rate of monocyte was 15.6%. (3) The peripheral hemogram of female aged between 25 and 40:the monocyte's quantity of the staff with Seniority Less than or equal to 5 is higher than Seniority between 5 and 20 has statistics significance.(4) The peripheral hemogram of male Age above 40 years old: the peripheral blood's quantity of the staff with Seniority Less than or equal to 5 is less than other service personnel staff has statistics significance.(5) The peripheral hemogram of male aged between 25 and 40:the WBC's quantity and neutrophil relative value of the staff with Seniority Less than or equal to 20 is less than Seniority above 20 has statistics significance.(6)the abnormal rate of ocular lens of male is lower than female has statistics significance.(7) The Chromosome aberrations rate of female aged between 25 and 40: the chromosome aberrations rate of the staff with Seniority Less than or equal to 5 is higher than Seniority between 5 and 20 has statistics significance.(8)the Hepatitis B surface antigen positive rate of female is lower than men,and lower than the national average level of 10.9 percent, the Hepatitis B surface antigen positive rate of female is higher than the national average level. Conclusion : In long-term, Small dose of ionizing radiation exposure will be a certain impact to Workers's body , while the blood and chromosomes change are more obvious.
