ObjectiveIt is well known that basophils of the abnormal in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia in the bone marrow and peripheral blood has become indicators of poor prognosis. At the same time, interferon-αis the validity treatment in the chronic myeloid leukemia. so the plasmacytoid dendritic cell(pDC) - interferon professional producing cells have become the issue between domestic and international research workers. Well, chronic myeloid leukemia in patients with abnormal number of basophils is the true sense of basophils? What is the relationship between basophils and plasmacytoid dendritic cells? This is the significance of this research.MethodAfter inspection of Hematology, bone marrow, chromosome and molecular, a clear diagnosis of chronic myeloid leukemia in chronic phase, interferon-αeffective treatment, interferon-αtreatment ineffective accelerated phase or blast crisis phase of patients will be divided into the three groups, using Ficoll density gradient centrifugation from the three patients with bone marrow mononuclear cells, and then use proceeds of Ficoll-Hypaque morphology and significant "basophils " separation of smear staining, inverted microscope and light microscope observation of cell morphology, for cell counting basophils of a statistical test.
