Comparison Study On CT Features Of Sacroiliac Joint Between Patients With Ankylosing Spondylitis And Healthy Volunteers Of Same Age

Objective Control study CT showings of sacroiliac joint in the different age of AS patients and the same age of healthy volunteers.Methods Health group: there were 83 healthy volunteers with no symptoms of spondyloarthropathy, 33 cases were male, 50 cases were female, Disease group: there were 44 clinical diagnosis patients with ankylosing spondylitis, 31 cases were male and l3 cases were female , Then the two group were divided respectively into four groups: less than 20 years old, 21 to 30 years old, 31 to 40 years old, overrun 41-year-old . Each will be checked by sacroiliac joint CT, respectively, analyse CT showing according . Find out normal performance in health group which were easily mistaken for AS arthritis of sacroiliac, and disease performance in disease group .And count the percentage of performance or signs in different age group respectively, Observe normal performance's characteristics in different age group.Results Disease group show that there are 42 joints showing joint space change (52.5%),63 joints showing bone erosion of the articular surface (78.8%), 66 joints showing articular surface hardening (82.5%).In health group, overrun 30-year-old show that articular surface hardening and joint space anomaly, those signs appear less in health people less than 30. Healthy people of different ages have different characteristics on articular surface hardening, articular surface similar erosion and joint space abnormal.Conclusion CT images of sacroiliac joint of the health people who have not symptoms of spine and joints can also show articular surface hardening, articular surface similar erosion and joint space abnormal, These shows are resemble to sacroilitis of AS patient, according to the difference of the sacroiliac joint in the performance rate and performance characteristics of the health people in the different ages,It is Differentiated with pathological signs of sacroilitis of AS patient.given full consideration by age and Clinical symptoms, We can more accurately distinguish normal showings and abnormal signs of AS, So we can prevent misdiagnosis.
