ObjectThe aim is to set up an evaluation index system of nursing professional teaching materials for undergraduate and to provide a scientifically evaluation tool for evaluation of nursing teaching materials. It will promote the quality of nursing teaching materials, and push the practically research of construction of teaching materials. It will lay foundation for strengthening the undergraduate nursing education level and training tall character nursing talented persons.MethodsMethods used in this research contain literature analysis and optimization, interview, Delphi technique, lining up method and synthetical scored method. Date was analyzed with Excel 2003 and the SPSS 15.0.Results1 Construction of the evaluation index system of nursing professional teaching materials for undergraduateAccording to the results of expert consult, and with all data>3.50, full marks ratio>0.20, variation coefficient<0.25 for standard, the items in the first survey which were not consistent with the standard were deleted. Combined with the expert's opinion and suggestion, the evaluation index was revised. The second survey was carried on. After two rounds of Delphi procedure, each item's mean and variation coefficient were consistent with the standard. The opinion of the experts appeared consistent. In the end, 4 one-grade items, 15 second-grade items and 34 third-grade items were selected.Making use of the principle of lining up method, combining the value of each item, the weight of each item was computed.2 Examination and application of evaluation index system of nursing professional teaching materials for undergraduateThrough reliability analysis and validity analysis,the evaluation index system has good reliability and validity".The New Basic Nursing"",Surgical Nursing"",Department of Nursing"were evaluated by using the evaluation index system.Their evaluation score are 71.48,58.62,53.43.The evaluation score of the writers'academic level are 0.011303,0.009351,0.008494.The practice, advanced, content component should be amended in the future teaching materials improving.Conclusion1 The research constructed an evaluation index system of nursing professional teaching materials for undergraduate.2 High-level writers are the keys to writing high-quality teaching materials.Suggestion1 The selection of nursing teaching materials writers should pay more attention to the academica level and writing ability of writers.2 The evaluation index system should be revised dynamically. New perspectives in this study1 This research constructs a scientific and viable evaluation index system of nursing professional teaching materials for undergraduate.2 This research lead the writers'academic level into the evaluation index of nursing teaching materials for undergraduate.Conception for making further investigations1 Expand the scope of evaluation subjects and the quatity of evaluation objects so that the evaluation results are broad and representative.2 More work should be done to collect the data and materials in order to make a comparative study among different editions of nursing teaching materials for undergraduate. That can promote the selection of good teaching materials.
