Objective Comparing the expression of specific IgE(sIgE),total IgE(tIgE) and CD4+CD25+ Regulatory T cells (CD4+CD25+Tr )in patients with Allergic Rhinitis(AR) and Bronchial Asthma(BA), analyzing the correlation between CD4+CD25+Tr and tIgE in order to further investigate the pathogenesy of AR and BA,and the relation and difference of them, explore a new way for the early prevention and treatment of asthma to reduce its incidence.Methods1. 10 types sIgE of the inhalant allergens in sera were tested by Pharmacia UniCap system and fluoro enzyme-linked immune assay on 213 of AR and 76 of BA.2. 30 patients with AR and 30 patients with BA were selected randomly from Part I data, 20 cases healthy people were enrolled as normal control group. The percentage of CD4+CD25+Tr in peripheral blood and the level of tIgE in serum of all the subjects were detectded by flow cytometry and Pharmacia UniCap system respectively. The relathion between CD4+CD25+Tr and tIgE was analyzied .Results1. The positive detection rate of 10 types sIgE of the inhalant allergens in AR was lower than BA; The positive and hipositive detection rates of Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus(d1) and Dermatophagoides farinae(d2), the positive detection rate of house dust (h1) in BA were higher than in AR.The difference between two groups was significant(P<0.05).2. The percentage of CD4+CD25+ Tr in patients with AR and BA were significantly lower than that in normal controls, and that in BA was lower than in AR,the differce was significant. The percentage of CD4+CD25+ Tr was decreased obviously when the patients' condition became more serious (perennial rhinitis
