Detection And Clinical Application Of Serum Soluble MICA Protein In Patients With Esophageal Carcinoma Or Cardiac Carcinoma

Objective:To determine the serum sMICA in heathy people,preoperative and postoperative patients with esophageal carcinoma or cardiac carcinoma.To valuate the clinical diagnosis and the clinical application value of serum soluble MICA protein in patients with esophageal carcinoma or cardiac carcinoma.To analyze and discuss the function of sMICA in anti-tumor mechanism and its relation with immune escaping of tumor.Method:Fifty untreated patients(male/female:30/20) were studied by consummate preoperative inspection.They were newly diagnosed based on perspective barium meal,gastroscope,pathological section;and patients complicating bepatitis,hyperpiesia,diabetes,rheumatis and rheumatoid disease were strictly exclued.Twenty healthy people without organ affection including heart,lungs,liver and kidney,and without abnormalities of hepatic function and renal function,and without oncosis history of family.ELISA was used to detect the serum sMICA.Results:sMICA was highly expressed on patients with esophageal carcinoma or cardiac carcinoma,the level of serum sMICA in patients(322.42±9.099) was higher significantly than that in controls(176.00±11.692) pg/mL.In the TNM stage,the level of serum sMICA in patients ofⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳstage were respectively(263.56±14.386) pg/mL,(342.22±6.759) pg/mL,(380.57±27.346) pg/mL,the level of serum sMICA was significantly increased in order;(P＜0.01～0.05).The level of serum sMICA of patients with lymph node metastasis (314.33±8.355) pg/mL was higher than that of patients without lymph node metastasis (246.80±15.799).In histopathology,the level of serum sMICA in patients with imbricate carcinoma(344.26±13.072) pg/mL was higher than patients with glandiform carcinoma. (296.78±10.415) pg/mL(p＜0.01) 5 In TNMⅢ,the level of serum sMICA of preoperative patients(342.22±6.759) pg/mL was higher than that of postoperative patients(209.78±7.293) pg/mL.(p＜0.01)Conclusion:Detection of the serum sMICA was helpful for the assistant clinical diagnosis in patients with esophageal carcinoma or cardiac carcinoma,it is relevant to lymph node metastasis,degree of infiltration and TNM sage,sMICA could be considered as a new tumour symbol to evaluate the biologic characteristic and prognosis of esophageal carcinoma and cardiac carcinoma.
