Analysis Of The Allergens With Allergic Diseases In DaLian

Objective:To discuss the main allergens which could induce allergic diseases, and the difference of allergens in different sex or age in DaLian. To study the relationship of different allergic diseases with allergens species, as well as the relationship of complicated allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma history with allergens species.Methods: Retrospective study of skin prick test results of allergic diseases in patients of our out-patient clinic was carried out. The first part of 1059 cases were from 2006.5 to 2007.5. The second part of 501 cases were from 2006.11 to 2007.5. We recorded preliminary diagnosis and complicated allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma history. All of the patients were from DaLian and neigbouring regions. SPSS statistical package and chi square test was used, so P<0.05 was believed to show statistical significance.Result: Total positive rate of the first part of 1059 cases was 92.4%, with dermatophagoides pteronyssinus 45.8%, dermatophagoides farinae 42.3%, trichophyton mentagrophytes 34.1%, mouldsâ…¡27% and mouldsâ… 21.7%. Seventy-four point nine percent patients were allergic to three or more allergens. The positive rates of trichophyton mentagrophytes,hay,shrimp,hen's egg (whole) and mutton were related to sex. The positive rates of trichophyton mentagrophytes and mouldsâ… were related to age. Positive rates of 24 kinds of allgergens in the second part of 501 cases were highest in urticaria group. The positive rate of dermatophagoides pteronyssinus,beef and mutton of urticaria group was obviously higher than that in other three groups, however the positive rate of shrimp and paprika in urticaria group was same as that in eczema group, which was obviously higher than that in dermatitis group and other groups. Except hay and locust black, positive rate of the patients complicating with allergic rhinitis or allergic asthma was higher than that in simple skin lesion group, but only positive rate of dermatophagoides farinae showed statistical significance, and food parsley, tomato and peach positive rate was higher than that in simple skin lesion group, however beef and halibut positive rate was obviously lower than that in simple skin lesion group.Conclusions: Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus,dermatophagoides farinae,trichophyton mentagrophytes and moulds were the most frequent allergens in DaLian. The positive rate of trichophyton mentagrophytes,hay,shrimp,hen's eggs(whole) and mutton in male was obviously higer than that in female. The positive rate of trichophyton mentagrophytes and moulds in old people increase obviously. The food of beef,mutton,shrimp,paprika and so on were easy to induce urticaria.Positive rate of Dermatophagoides culinae, parsley, tomato and peach in skin lesion complicating with allergic rhinitis or allergic asthma allergens groups was obviously higher than that in simple skin lesion group.
