| Objective: To provide a scientific measures for STD prevention and control, and analyse STD surveillance results among entry-exit personnel during 2004~2007 at Liaoning Port.Methods: All international travelers were tested for HBsAg, TP and Anti-HIV at Liaoning port from 2004 to 2007. Statistical analyses was done by using SPSS 13.0.Result: There were 1129 cases for STD in Liaoning Port during 4 years,detectable rate for 0.32%,below the average of all the Ports of China 0.75%.The detectable rates of Hepatitis B and syphilis were lower every year, but higher every year of AIDS. Hepatitis B and syphilis and AIDS are the major STD diseases of entry-exit personnel at Liaoning Port, the detectable rates were 0.18%, 0.13% and 0.01% .The proportion of STD infections in male and female was 1.76:1.The younger were the major group of STD infections. The Chinese AIDS detectable rate was higher than the foreign ,but contrarily in syphilis. In educational background, the rate of junior high school degree was 70%,the highest of STD infections.The detectable rate of Chinese married men (64.30/10000)and foreign port workers ( 150.60/10000 ) were the highest of STD infections.The detectable rate of Anshan was the highest.Conclusion: There is rising detectable rate in AIDS infection.Hep atitis B and syphilis and AIDS are the major STD diseases .STD infections in male were more than in female. The detectable rate of Chinese married men and foreign port workers were the highest of STD infections.The detectable rate of Anshan was the highest. It is very important to strengthen the monitoring of STD and health consultation for entry-exit personnel, to improve public consciousness of health care, and to work out effective prevention and control measures to prevent STD from spreading. |
