In 1882, the Beely conducted the scientific research to the plantar pressure for the first time. In the recent 20~30 years this domain develops rapidly. At present, the plantar pressure analysis has been applied in various domains, like biological mechanics, orthopedic surgery, and rehabilitative medicine and so on. The plantar pressure analysis of the normal not only let us understand the gait of the normal much more deeply, but also provide the normal standard for the pressure analysis of the morbid feet. The developed countries engage in the plantar pressure analysis of the normal much earlier, so they have accumulated lots of parameter values. The international famous plantar pressure analysator has established respective parameter value in the large sample. In the recent 20 years, along with the development of survey technology as well as the introduction of advanced system, domestic researchers have obtained much achievement. But in the whole, domestic is still in the exploration stage to imitate overseas research. There are three main insufficiencies: (1) It's difficult for the domestically produced instrument to obtain the widespread acknowledgment; (2) It's lack of the large sample data; (3) It's inferior to the overseas research by far in degree. Therefore, this experiment is for the purpose of using one kind of plantar pressure analysis system which obtains international widespread acknowledgment to analyze the normal Chinese adult with a large sample.[Objective] To observe the plantar pressure distribution of the normal Chinese adult. Then establish a series of parameter value for the normal Chinese adult, for the purpose of providing the normal standard for the pressure analysis of the morbid feet. [Methods] Uses the F-scan plantar pressure analysis system to collect plantar pressure distribution data of 100 volunteers who stand, walk, jogs, upstairs and downstairs. Uses SPSS13.0 to calculate the plantar pressure distribution data(parameter value of plantar pressure, time-distribution and gravity-distribution), as well as influence of sex, height, body weight, body mass index and speed. [Results] There's non-significance significance of the plantar pressure distribution between both feet in the Chinese normal adults. In comparison with static stand, the peak pressure of each dynamic way is higher. In four dynamic motions, the gait of walk is stalest, and it become unstable if speed up and go upstairs or downstairs. There's much large difference of time-distribution parameter between the Chinese and the European-American. As for gravity-distribution parameter, walk is be best, but speeding up and going upstairs or downstairs are unstable. As for the influential factors of the plantar pressure distribution, there is non-significance of sex. The height, the body weight, the BMI have weak correlation with the plantar pressure distribution. But the speed has the significance. [Conclusion] The plantar pressure distribution of normal Chinese adults has the distinctive quality. The database established by this experiment, may provide the reference to the clinical plantar pressure analysis. It's necessary to expand the sample size and the age-section, and then establish a more comprehensive database for normal Chinese people.
