Objectives: By measuring the parameter of proximal femur anatomy and imaging, explore how to use the computer-assisted orthopaedic surgery system to establish "safe area "in proximal femoral fractures surgery. discuss the merits and the defects by comparing the surgery useing computer-assisted orthopaedic surgery system with the traditional proximal femoral fractures surgery. Mehtdes:(1)Using the X scan image technology to measure the parameter of 60 femoral skeleton specimens, explores the "safe area " in proximal femoral fractures surgery.(2)Divide the 60 femoral skeleton specimens into two groups, design different proximal femoral fractures models.Use computer-assisted orthopaedic surgery to make simulated surgery in one group, use traditional proximal femoral fractures surgery in the other groups, survey each kind of parameter, measure and analyse the parameter by using statistic method to compare the two surgury methods. Results:Through analyzing the coronal plane and the slanting sagittal plane scanned image of the femoral skeleton specimens and using anatomical knowledge, " safe area" in proximal femoral fractures surgery can be established. (2) Computer-assisted orthopaedic surgery showed better in exposured time under X-ray,precision, position measurement of medical image data compared with traditional surgery. But the computer-assisted orthopaedic surgery system still have certain deviation. Conclusions: Computer-assisted orthopaedic surgery system can provide precise localization in surgery and establish "safe area" , achieves the best surgery effect with smallest surgical invasion. It surpasses the traditional surgery way in treating effect.
