| We report here a case of thyroid hormone insensitivity syndrome(THIS).The patient was a 14-year-old Chinese woman who noticed a goitre although she had no symptoms of thyrotoxicosis. Laboratory examination revealed elevated serum thyroid hormone levels and a normal TSH level. Ultrasonography disclosed diffuse goiter and right thyroid nodule. Pituitary MRI is normal. All above led to the diagnosis of PRTH. And we discussed the pathogenesis, diagnose and therapeutics.
