Objective:Infant Rotavirus Enteritis (IRVE) is a kind of acute gastroenteritis disease that infected by Rotavirus (RV), especially prevalent in autumn and winter. Since their discovery in the 1970s, the human rotaviruses have been recognized as the most important cause of acute among infants and children worldwide. Symptoms of rotavirus infection are non-specific and include vomiting and diarrhoea, occasionally accompanied by fever. Dehydration is more common with rotavirus infection than with most bacterial pathogens, and is the most common cause of death related to rotavirus infection. It is estimated that rotavirus causes 25 % of all deaths due to diarrhoeal disease, and 6 % of all deaths in children aged < 5 years. In the resent years, its founded that rotavirus infect not only intestines but also all organs of the whole body. It was reportded that almost 50-70% unconventional increase of the cardic muscle enzymes were founded, that means cardiac musle damages happen. It has been the one of the hittist area of IRVE ' s research. Western medicine Treatment on IRVE is non-specific. However, the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treament methods are diversiform. so far, the effect of TCM on the cardic muscle enzymes is still not clear. It is meaningful to research the effect of TCM on IRVE. IRVE, in the eyes of traditional Chinese medicine, falls into the category of " diarrhoea " . My academic advisor, Professor Xu Hua has done years of research in the field of IRVE. She thinks that pathological mechanism of IRVE is the asthenia of the spleen and dampness . She considers that the therapy of IRVE follows the basic rule of strengthening invigorating spleen for eliminating dampness, and had gainded a good treatment effect in the before research.Base on it , this research observes the clinical effect of the Chinese traditional medicine of invigorating spleen for eliminating dampness in treating IRVE, and discuss its action on cardiac muscle enzymes initially.Meth :Adopt randomized controlled trial. Stochastically divided 80 examples troubles into the treatment group and control group. The treatment group used the the Chinese traditional medicine of invigorating spleen for eliminating dampness .The control group used orally Smecta, observing its clinical curative effect and discuss their action on cardiac muscle enzymes initially. Results:The effect rate of the treatment group was 95 %, the control group effect rate was 70%, the treatment group surpassed control group, and the difference between two groups was significant (P<0. 01); The effect rate of treatment group in checking diarrhea, allaing a fever and arresting vomiting were higher than that of the control group(P<0.01); The value of CK-MB after treating in the treated group was( 37. 96±17. 59), while in the control group was (47±18.07) , The two groups value of CK-MB after treating had statistics difference (P<0. 05), showed that both groups could decrease the unconventional CK-MB .while the effect of the treated group surpassed the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The Chinese traditional medicine of invigorating spleen for eliminating dampness had the function of treating rotavirus Enteritis and could obviously shorten the course of the disease, improve the symptom, decrease the cardiac muscle harm.
