| Purpose:Epigastralgia usually recognized as stomachach,is a common medical illnesses.When epigastralgia attack,it would interfere with the patient's daily life,diet and work,and serious will be impact on the quality of life of patients.Therefore,by the long-term research,TCM has accumulated rich experience for diagnosis and treat the disease.Previous medical books have outstangding records about the Name,etiology,pathogenesis,treatment and Differential Treatment of Epigastralgia,as well as leaving a large number of generationsand combinations of prescription drugs,lt would be worthy for us to study those ancient medical knowledge.TCM embraces and takes diagnosis and treatment as a whole,which has the certain combining superiority.Modern clinical researches also prove that using chinese medicine to treat stomachach resulting good curative effect,thus eventually receiving pervasive attention.Therefore,not only useing ancient treatments,but also modern and scientific researches are significant important topic.From the historical research on TCM doctora to diagnosis and treat epigastralgia,it is very benifit for clinical.MethodBasic reseach-including information acquisition,material assembly and clinical investigaton.1.information acquisition:As a result of material original question,books are most important for information acquisition;On the other hand,there are hundred of thousand of ancient books about Epigastralgia,fortunately,There is the"encyclopeadia of Traditional Chinese Medcine" CD,including the rich of medical books and the monograph.Therefore I got a lot of necessary information,then one by one searches the verification source from the ancient books.Meanwhile,there are numerous ancient books from different publishing house preserved in Doctor History Literature Room of the Universuty of TCM,in addition to Guangzhou guangyuan Tech-bookstore,Bai Yun book-city,New China bookshop,Taiwan Ming Shah Tang.2.material assemblySince Taiwan national library has long-term contract with CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure),though national library 6thfloor sinology research center reference room,one could use the network to enter China Journal Full-text Database(CJFD),and download modern core periodical and recent 20 year medicine Dissertation about Epigastralgia,which obtain the very big inspiration for me.In addition,after reading"Chinese medicine Diseases Special edition Epigastralgia"(Chinese medicine ancient book publishing house 1987),"Taste Study"(Chief Editor Wang Qifei,Beijing Science and technology Publishing house 1989 autotypes),it is essential to learn how to blend together about knowledge academic,the medical principles and avoid degenerating into the plagiarism classical Chinese literature.3.clinical investigaton:Because of Pro.Liu Xiaobin's instruction and Xiujuan Dong's help,six clinical investigaton can be completed.By study the cases,not only is west theropy necessary,but also TCM treatment have good effects,especially the adverse effcts of west medicine,and have common good curative effect in prognosis recuperation aspects.The cooperation of Chinese and Western medicine will become the new research area for treating epigastralgia and surgery patients.Results:Academic development of TCM diagnosis and treatment epigastralgia may approximately divide into four stages:First,from pre-Qin to Han,from scattered literature material and small experience accumulation to take"Huang Di's Orthodox Classic","Nan Jing","Shang Han","Jin Gui" as symbol of TCM system's establishment. Second,in the period of Jin and Tang recent 700 years,the clinical discipline of TCM had got the whole development.The epigastric pain still called the heart pain,but after taking the TCM medicine,there have been suggestion that should avoid raw and cold,greasy,sticks the food,pungently,the sweets, to which the digestive disease is related.Meanwhile,clinical found the cause of disease,the pathogenesis,treatment and formula about each kind of epigastric pain,which has established the pathology foundation for the later generation epigastric pain research.Third,from Song to Yuan dynasty,the card clinincal practice and the theory of diagnosis and treatment epigastric pain is the crucial stage of TCM academic development.In the Northern Song Dynasty,there were three famous medical books which become the important literature to study epigastric pain."Ru Men Shi Qin",author Zhang Zihe,first carried the terminology of epigastric pain; Li Gao established the spleen and stomach theory;Zhu Danxi stressed that discussing the epigastric pain mainly learned four aspects including the gas, the blood,the phlegm and the blood stasis.Fourth,between Ming and Qing Dynasties,academic experience of the diagnoses and treatment for the epigastric pain became mature and theory was developed. In the clinical,the epigastric pain mainly attack the spleen and stomach, not only learn that the epigastric pain have the relations with the spleen and stomach,but also the five organs,.Therefor,governing the spleen and stomach can adjust the five internal organs,on the other hand,governing the five internal organs to adjust the spleen and stomach.Theoretically, according the theory of spleen and stomach and theory of the qi,blood,phlegm and blood stasis theory,it is benefit to diagnosis epigastric pain,which became more and more important,until now still had the effect to use in the clinical practice.Therefore,the end part of the paper tries to analyze the modern clinical cases to verify with theory of the predecessor,and nowaday,there is no any book,which dicussing the theory..For three years, the author has done work belonging to the foundational research.ConclusionUnder the teacher group's instruction,for three years,the dissertation mainly research two aspect;Firstly,the dissertation discuss the academic source and course to TCM diagnosis epigastric pain;Secondly,through clinical investigtion,it is proved that Chinese medicine theory is important in clinic. 1.The paper researches the academic source and course by studying ancient books,along historical time.and learn the detailed material of diagnose epigastric pain's principle.According writing paper,the author has the sincere experience—from pre-Qin to Ming and Qing Dynasties during more than 2000 years,so many TCM classics as the sea,have developed the perfect system info and clinical experience,and worth study diligently.2.By clinical investigation,we learn that at present main symptoms of so-called Chinese medicine epigastric pain are digestive tract symptom,eg inappetency,nausea and vomit,sometimes appear general symptoms,eg tired,body acid pain and so on,even other serious diseases;the factors, which cause these symptoms,were anger,feeling cold,tired,overeat or overdrink and so on;however through the modern gastroscopy and digestive barium meal,it is essential that the Chinese medicine has more understandings to the epigastric pain.At present,the diagnosis standard of epigastraglia comes from the teaching material or the profession promulgation standard,which come from previous famous doctors' academic experience.Especially,the study is very impoetant in the clinic,which focus on analysis two types of epigastralgia——"Pi Wei Shi Re" and"Wei Yin Kui XU"...
