Study On The Correlativity Between Traditional Chinese Medical Syndrome Types And Th1/Th2 Type Cytokines In Spontaneous Abortion Patients

Objective To investigate the relationship between Traditional Chinese Medical syndrome types and Th1/Th2 type cytokines in spontaneous abortion patients,and to provide the microscopic evidence for TCM differential diagnosis and treatment of spontaneous abortion.Method Diagnosis and differentiation in TCM for the 61 patients of spontaneous abortion were made,and then the level of IL-2,IL-4,IL-10,IFN--γin blood serum were detected.The relationship between Traditional Chinese Medical syndrome types and Th1/Th2 type cytokines in spontaneous abortion patients was analyzed after that.Result In single-factor comparison,the level of IL-2 in blood serum in kidney-deficiency group is significantly lower than that in the other three groups(p＜0.05);the level of IFN--γin blood-stasis group is the highest in the four groups(p＜0.05),while the level of IL-10 in blood-stasis group is the lowest(p＜0.05).There is no significant correlation between the history of spontaneous abortion and the TCM syndrome types(p＞0.05).There is a positive linear correlation between IL-2,the ratio of IL-2/IL4,IL-2/IL10,Th1/Th2 cytokines and the frequency of abortion.While correlation is negative when it is mentioned to P and the level of IL-2,the ratio of IL-2/IL-10,IFN-γ/IL-10,Th1/Th2(p＜0.05).Conclusion The level of Th1/Th2 type cytokines in blood serum were related to the TCM types of kidney-deficiency type and blood-stasis type in spontaneous abortion patients,which provide the evidence for the objectivity of kidney-deficiency type and blood-stasis type in TCM spontaneous abortion.Emphasis should be placed on reinforcing kidney and strengthening spleen in syndrome differentiation and treatment administration for spontaneous abortion patients,however can not stickle in it.With the rising of the ratio of Th1/Th2,Th1 become the dominant cytokines and the frequency of the spontaneous abortion then rise.Moreover,the balance between the total amount of Th1 type cytokines and Th2 type cytokines may be more important for spontaneous abortion patients.Progestin which can inhibit the production of Th1 type cytokines and keep balance between Th1 type cytokines and Th2 type cytokine will do good to the immune tolerance which can prevent spontaneous abortion.
