| Objective To study the influence of continuous venovenous hemodiafiltration (CVVHDF) on major organ function in MODS dogs. Method fifteen Beagle dogs were subjected to hemorrhagic shock plus resuscitation and endotoxemia to set up MODS model, then dogs were randomly divided into two groups: CVVHDF group (n= 8) and MODS group(n=7). continuous venovenous hemodiafiltration was performed 12 hours after endotoxin injection was finished in CVVHDF group. MODS group without CVVHDF. Blood samples were taken for evaluation of serum ALT, AST, ALP, Cr, BUN and blood gas. Result CVVHDF group PaO2 was increased, PaCO2 fell and remained normal, Cr, BUN, ALP decreased significantly, much lower than that of MODS group(P<0.05), approve the functions of major organs. Conclution CVVHDF can significantly approve major organ functions in MODS dogs. |
