Objective: This study was to investigate the clinicopathologic factors related to recurrence following curative surgery for epithelial ovarian carcinoma,in order to improve the treatment effects. Methods: A retrospective study of 240 cases of ovarian epithelial carcinoma from Juanary 2001 to December 2006 is undertaken. All of these cases had postoperative pathological diagnosis and were staged according FIGO(2000) standard clinical by stages. chemotherapy by platinum class primarily. Uses the SPSS13.0 statistics software to carry on the univariate factor and multivariate non-condition Logistic to the data the stepwise regression analysis, the determination influence epithelial ovarian cancer recrudescence risk factor. Results: Univariate factor analysis result showed that after clinical by stages, residual size, tissue graduation and lymph node cleaning after epithelial ovarian cancer recurs influential (P<0.05). Leads the multivariate regression analysis the above factor, finally demonstrated after clinical by stages, the important attribute which after the residual size, the tissue graduation and the lymph node cleaning are affects epithelial ovarian cancer recur (P<0.05). Conclusions: Epithelial ovarian cancer's recrudescence is the multivariate combined action result, Clinical stage?residual lesion after cytoreductive surgery, tissue graduation and the lymph node cleaning, are important risk factors for recurrence epithelial ovarian carcinoma.
