Mechanism And Practice Of Clinical Decision Support Based On EMR

Large amount of studies show that the clinical decision support system can effectively resolve the limitations of medical knowledge, reduce human negligence and medical costs, and provide a guarantee for the quality of medical care. But there is disadvantage in the practical applications that clinical decision support system is disengaged with the medical staffs of the daily work. So it can't work automatically and need to get information for decision-making and entry data manually. The inconvenience of clinical decision support system sets obstacles for its widespread acceptance.The development of electronic medical records provides a good environment for the plight of clinical decision support. The electronic medical records system as a collection, storage, transmission, processing, using of electronic medical records provides a complete set of tools and applications, including health care support. To integrate clinical decision support into clinical workflow, the most direct way is achieving decision-making support in the electronic medical record system, which can not only obtain the required data through the electronic medical records automatically, but also combine the medical work closely, provide real-time Clinic activities at the decision-making support and reduce medical errors in the decision-making.However, implementing all decision support functions in EMR system by single vendor is not possible due to the complexity of clinical knowledge. It is very necessary to do some research on the study which is based on the openness of the electronic medical records of clinical decision support mechanisms. It enables all kinds of clinical decision support and close integration of electronic medical records system Furthermore, it can automatically obtain data and delivery the suitable decision-making recommendations to the appropriate users at the right time. This thesis launched mainly from the following to achieve this goal:A) Analysis of medical business processes and clinical decision support type of intervention, study clinical decision support driving mode.B) Research on clinical decision support data model oriented to electronic medical records.C) Design of the clinical decision-making mechanism based on the architecture of electronic medical record system. D) practice of the clinical decision support mechanism based on the electronic medical record system and take the diagnosis guidance of diabetes as an example.
