Research On Hospital-Community-Family-Based Rehabilitation Model Of Cerebral Palsy Of Children

ObjectiveTo explore the influence of the Hospital-Community-Family Based Rehabilitation on the gross motor function of cerebral palsy of children and analyze economic effects of different rehabilitation modle on cerebral palsy of children.Methods153 cerebral palsy patients were divided into hospital-community-family rehabilitation group (n=52), hospital rehabilitation group (n=50) and control group (n=51), they were treated with hospital-community-family rehabilitation therapy, hospital rehabilitation therapy and nothing respectively. The gross motor function of all patients were evaluated by using Gross Motor function measure-88 Scale at the admission, the end of 3rd month and the 6th month respectively and were evaluated by using cost measure scale at the 6th month.Results There were no significant difference in the gross motor function among three groups at the admission (P>0.05). There were significant difference in the monthly percent of the gross motor of patients at the different age phases, 6months-2,2-4,4-6years (P<0.01) and 6-12years (P<0.05) between hospital-community-family rehabilitation group and control group. There were all significant differences in the gross motor function between hospital-community-family rehabilitation group and hospital rehabilitation group at the end of 6th month (P<0.01), but There were no significant differences in control group. There were significant differences in cost-effectiveness analysis between hospital-community-family rehabilitation group and hospital rehabilitation group(P<0.01). Every score improved in the gross motor function was costed 75.11±45.75 yuan in hospital-community-family rehabilitation group and 170.31±123.16 yuan in hospital rehabilitation group, the former is lower 2-3times than that of the later.ConclusionRehabilitation on the gross motor function of cerebral palsy of children is a long progress. Hospital-Community-Family Based Rehabilitation can obviously improve the gross motion function of cerebral palsy of children. The cerebral palsy of children should be treated with rehabilitation therapy as early as possible, the earlier intervention was given, the better improvement was achieved. Hospital rehabilitation should be suit to early rehabilitation of cerebral palsy of children. Hospital-community-family rehabilitation should be suit to long rehabilitation of cerebral palsy of children and can decrease cost of cerebral palsy obviously. So hospital-community-family rehabilitation modle is more adapt to national situation of our country.
