Objective: To study the protective effect of QKL on myocardial Ischemia injury. Methods:In vivo, A rat model of regional myocardial was established by ligating the left anterior desending coronary artery (LAD) of heart for 60 mins. The protective effects of QKL were evaluated from the following indexes: the change of ECG ; the change of serum enzymology ,including myocardial creatine phosphokinase (CK) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH ) activities; the infarcted myocardial size with TTC staining; The expression of Caspase-3, Caspase-9 and iNOS by immunohistochemistry. Results: Compared with model group, QKL diminished the incidence of ventricular fibrillation; significantly alleviated S-T segment elevation and the area of ischemia injury ; decreased CK, LDH activities in serum. QKL also reduce the expression of iNOS, and play a protective role in ischemia injury. QKL did not influence on the expression of Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 in ischemia injure rats .;Conclusion: QKL can protect rat myocardium from ischemia injury.
