Study On Communication Mode Between Physicians And Patients In The Internet Environment

The 21st century is a highly informationized one. As medical services are improved and reformation of medical system is deepened, hospitals have entered such a digital and informationized time. Internet websites have become windows where hospitals face the world, bridges by which hospitals connect surroundings, important stages where hospitals give publicity to, exchange information, and reinforce communications. Many hospitals have been building their own websites by use of internet technique to foster a good image in internet, increase rate of identity, attract patients and increase their market shares. The construction of hospitals'websites is an important part of the information of hospitals and is fit for the development of medical reformations and services. The development of medical service relies on the supports of good relation between doctors and patients. However, basically, the current conditions of disharmony of this relation are owed to the dissymmetry in information communications between doctors and patients and obstacles in such communications as results. For this reason, this paper attach important to perform investigating researches in improving the dissymmetry above mentioned and reinforcing communications between doctors and patients. Kinds of media are needed in information communication between doctors and patients. As information techniques are renewed day by day, people can gain more medical information and new medical knowledge by use of public radio, TV, newspaper and journal. They may gain medical helps and guides by use of hospitals'websites and medical telephone counseling. More and more, patients require hospitalization and medical information on web. They require more communications with doctors. All of above require more information included, more individuation of doctor-patient communication columns in construction of hospitals'websites to improve doctor-patient communications to meet patients'needs of medical information on web, to decrease the dissymmetry of information and further relieve the nervous condition of doctor-patient relation.According to the requirements of the patients and conditions of hospitals'websites constructing in our country regarding experience of hospitals'websites constructing in other countries as references, the followings were purposed in this paper:(1) Websites of hospitals should become larger stages for information exchanging. The functions of doctor-patient communication should be optimized. The column of counseling on line should be reinforced to maintain timely and effective revision.(2) The information of these websites should be increased. The information resources sharing between doctors and patients, doctors and doctors should be achieved.(3) The individuation of services of these websites should be optimized.(4) The mode of individualized services should be enriched. The quality of content of individualized services should be improved.
