| Objective : To study the expression of heat shock protein 47 (HSP47) and its correlation to collagen content in keloid tissue and to explain its plays a role in keloid pathogenesis.Methods : 17 cases with keloid and 11 cases with normal skin were obtained and the collagenic appearance were observed in microscop by HE stain .The expression of HSP47 , TGF-β1, typeâ… collagen and typeâ…¢collagen were detected by immunohistochemical technique in samples. The content of HSP47, typeâ… collagen and typeâ…¢c ollagen were analyzed by HPLAS-1000 high definition computer system made in Germany.Results:17 cases with keloid compared with 11 cases with normal skin the expression of HSP47 was in dermis fibroblastic kytoplasm in keloid , moreover, its expression was much stronger than the its expression in the tissue of normal skin with significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01).There was significant difference between the expression of TGF-βin keloid tissue and in the tissue of the normal skin (P<0.01) .The expressionn of typeâ… collagen and typeâ…¢collagen in keloid were significantly higher than that in the normal skin (P<0.01 and P< 0.05).There was a direct correlation between the expression of the HSP47 and the content of typeâ… collagen and typeâ…¢collagen(r=0.51,p<0.05 and r=0.81,p<0.01).Conclusions : The expression of HSP47 is significant highly expressed in keloid tissue and it may play an important role during the expression and deposition of typeâ… collagen and typeâ…¢collagen in keloid . |
