| Objective:approach the expressions of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in myocardial matrix of the normal rats and the atherosclerotic rats.Methods: 20 wister rats were studied. 8 rats were feeded with ordinary forage as a control group,other 12 rats were feeded with fixed hyper-lipids and vitamin D3 forage to test.the latter 12 rats also were injected with vitamin D3 in right low limb every other day .the animal models were formed successfully after 3 months.then, we applied the means of zymogram spectrum analysis for detecting the activity of MMP-2 and MMP-9. moreover, we used the means of immunohistochemistry semi-determinalion to survey the contents of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in myocardial matrix.Results: with the zymogram spectrum analysis ,we found that the activity of MMP-2 increased in myocardial matrix in the trial group,but the MMP-9 did not. with the immunohistochemistry semi-determinalion, we found that the contents of MMP-2 increased, the MMP-9 also did not.Conclusions: for the atherosclerotic rats ,the activityies and comments of MMP-2 increased obviously in myocardial matrix,but the MMP-9 did not. |
